The stay was enjoyable overall, with very comfortable beds and clean rooms that made us feel right at home. We loved the friendly atmosphere and the cute decor that provided a warm welcome. It was convenient to have a beautiful bathtub to relax in after exploring nearby attractions like the Hastings Museum Theatre, which was just a short distance away.

Unique retro theme, high-quality bathrobes provided, modernized bathroom features
Ongoing renovations were annoying and didn't make for a relaxing stay!!! Lack of hot water during peak times was frustrating. Inadequate soundproofing allowed too much noise from neighbors!!! Small bathrooms felt cramped and less than ideal!!!

Comfortable Stay with Some Noise
Enjoyed my one-night stay in the Deluxe Single Room. The hotel has a charming revamp, though road noise was noticeable. A tasty on-site dining option made for a pleasant meal. A tip for future guests, bring earplugs, especially if you’re a light sleeper!

Renovations have brought a refreshing touch to the property, creating a modern vibe without losing its charm. The room was creatively decorated, featuring a steam-free mirror and plush towels that enhanced the experience. Enjoying a leisurely walk by the nearby lake was a lovely addition, and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of being allowed to fill my water bottles with cold filtered water. However, some ongoing renovations were noticeable during the stay, and the continental breakfast could have offered more variety.
